RETURN & REFUND POLICY
Last updated: 14 September 2026
At LIINGSTTORM, we want you to be satisfied with every purchase. This Return & Refund Policy explains your rights when purchasing from LIINGSTTORM.store, including your statutory rights under applicable United Kingdom consumer law.
This Policy applies to purchases made through:
Website: LIINGSTTORM.store
Customer Support: support@LIINGSTTORM.store
Trading Name: LIINGSTTORM
Nothing in this Policy limits or excludes any statutory rights you may have under UK consumer law.
1. Our 30-Day Returns Policy
In addition to your statutory cancellation rights, LIINGSTTORM offers customers a 30-day returns period for eligible products.
You may request a return within 30 calendar days from the date you receive your order.
For returns made outside the statutory 14-day cancellation period but within our voluntary 30-day returns period, items must normally:
-
be unused and unworn, other than reasonable inspection;
-
be in their original condition;
-
have all original labels and tags attached;
-
be returned with any accessories supplied with the item; and
-
where reasonably possible, be returned in their original packaging.
These conditions do not restrict your statutory rights in relation to faulty, damaged, misdescribed or otherwise non-conforming goods.
To request a return, contact:
Please provide your order number and the item or items you wish to return.
2. Statutory 14-Day Right to Cancel
When you purchase goods online, you normally have a legal right to change your mind and cancel your contract without giving a reason.
The statutory cancellation period ends 14 days after the day on which you, or a person nominated by you other than the carrier, receives the goods.
If a single order contains multiple goods delivered separately, the cancellation period normally begins from the date on which the final item is received.
For goods delivered in multiple lots or pieces, the period normally begins after you receive the final lot or piece.
To exercise your right to cancel, you must clearly inform us of your decision before the cancellation period expires.
You may contact us at:
You do not need to provide a reason for exercising your statutory right to cancel.
3. Returning Goods After Cancellation
After informing us that you wish to exercise your statutory right to cancel, you must return the relevant goods within 14 days.
Customers are permitted to inspect and handle products in a manner similar to what would reasonably be allowed in a physical retail shop.
For example, clothing may normally be tried on to assess size, appearance and fit.
However, if goods have been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, we may be legally entitled to make an appropriate deduction from the refund to reflect any reduction in value.
4. Return Shipping Costs
For ordinary change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods to us unless:
-
we have expressly agreed to pay the return costs;
-
the item is faulty;
-
the item is damaged;
-
the item is incorrect;
-
the item does not match its description; or
-
applicable law requires us to bear the cost.
Where goods are faulty or otherwise fail to conform to the contract, LIINGSTTORM will bear reasonable and necessary return costs where required by law.
We strongly recommend using a tracked return service and retaining proof of postage until your return has been completed.
5. Return Address
Do not return products to an address shown on packaging without first contacting our Customer Support team.
Please contact:
We will provide the appropriate return instructions and return address.
Sending goods to an incorrect address may delay the processing of your return.
6. Refunds Following Statutory Cancellation
Where you validly exercise your statutory right to cancel, we will refund payments we are legally required to refund.
This includes:
-
the price paid for the returned goods; and
-
the cost of the least expensive standard delivery method offered by us for the original order, where applicable.
If you selected an enhanced or more expensive delivery method, such as express or premium delivery, we are not required to refund the additional amount above the cost of our standard delivery service.
We may withhold the refund until:
-
we have received the returned goods; or
-
you provide satisfactory evidence that you have returned the goods,
whichever occurs first.
Once those requirements are satisfied, the statutory refund will be issued without undue delay and, where required by law, no later than 14 days afterwards.
The Consumer Contracts Regulations provide that customers who cancel qualifying distance contracts must generally be reimbursed, including the standard delivery charge, while allowing a deduction where excessive handling has reduced the value of the goods.
7. Refund Method
Unless otherwise expressly agreed with you, refunds will normally be issued using the same payment method used for the original transaction.
You will not be charged an additional fee by LIINGSTTORM for receiving a statutory refund.
The time required for a refund to appear in your account after it has been issued may depend on your bank, card issuer or payment provider.
8. Original Delivery Charges
Where you exercise your statutory right to cancel the entire qualifying order, we will refund the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option, where required by law.
If you paid for a more expensive shipping option, such as express shipping, only the equivalent standard delivery amount is refundable under the statutory cancellation rules.
If you return only part of an order under our voluntary returns policy, original delivery costs may not be refundable unless required by law.
9. Faulty, Damaged or Misdescribed Goods
Your legal rights concerning faulty or non-conforming goods are separate from your change-of-mind cancellation rights.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods supplied by a retailer must, among other legal requirements:
-
be of satisfactory quality;
-
be fit for any particular purpose made known to the retailer where applicable;
-
match their description; and
-
conform to the contract.
If an item does not meet the applicable statutory requirements, you may be entitled to a legal remedy.
10. Short-Term Right to Reject Faulty Goods
For qualifying faulty or non-conforming goods, consumers generally have a 30-day short-term right to reject the goods and request a refund.
The applicable 30-day period usually begins after the relevant legal conditions have been satisfied, including delivery of the goods.
This right is separate from our voluntary 30-day change-of-mind returns policy.
Where you properly exercise the statutory short-term right to reject, we will provide the remedy required under applicable consumer law.
11. Repair or Replacement
Where the statutory short-term right to reject has expired, you may have the right to request a repair or replacement if the goods do not conform to the contract.
Where such a remedy applies, it must be provided:
-
within a reasonable time;
-
without significant inconvenience to you; and
-
at no necessary cost to you.
A particular remedy may not be required where it is impossible or disproportionate compared with another legally available remedy.
12. Price Reduction or Final Right to Reject
Depending on the circumstances, if a repair or replacement is impossible, unsuccessful, unavailable or cannot be provided within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience, you may have the right to:
-
receive an appropriate price reduction; or
-
exercise a final right to reject the goods and receive a refund,
in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Nothing in this Policy limits those statutory remedies.
13. Items Damaged in Transit
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible at:
Please provide:
-
your order number;
-
a description of the problem; and
-
photographs of the item and packaging where reasonably possible.
Photographs can help us investigate shipping damage, but failure to provide photographs does not automatically remove statutory rights you may have.
14. Incorrect Items
If you receive an item that you did not order, please contact us at:
Where the mistake is ours, we will arrange an appropriate remedy and will not require you to bear necessary return costs associated with correcting our error.
15. Products That Do Not Fit
Where an item is not faulty but you wish to return it because of size, fit, colour preference or another change-of-mind reason, the return will be handled under:
-
your statutory cancellation rights, where those rights remain available; or
-
our voluntary 30-day returns policy.
The product should not be worn beyond what is reasonably necessary to determine its fit and suitability.
16. Sale and Promotional Items
Products purchased during a sale, promotion or discount campaign continue to benefit from any statutory rights that apply to them.
A reduced price does not, by itself, remove a customer's statutory rights.
Where an item was specifically discounted because of a defect that was clearly disclosed before purchase, you may not be entitled to claim a remedy solely in relation to that particular disclosed defect.
Other statutory rights remain unaffected.
17. Gifts
Where an item was purchased as a gift, any statutory refund will normally be processed through the original payment method used to purchase the product unless an alternative arrangement is expressly agreed and legally permitted.
18. Exchanges
Where available, exchanges may be offered for eligible items.
Availability of an exchange does not replace or restrict any statutory right to a refund, repair, replacement, price reduction or rejection where such a right applies.
If you would like a different size or colour, contact:
We may ask you to return the original item and place a new order if a direct exchange is not operationally available.
19. Exceptions to the Statutory Right to Cancel
UK law provides certain exceptions to the ordinary 14-day cancellation right.
Depending on the nature of the goods, the statutory cancellation right may not apply to certain products, including, where legally applicable:
-
goods made to the customer's specifications or clearly personalised;
-
goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly;
-
sealed goods that are not suitable for return for genuine health-protection or hygiene reasons where the seal has been broken after delivery;
-
sealed audio, video or computer software where the seal has been broken;
-
newspapers, periodicals or magazines, subject to applicable subscription rules; and
-
goods that, after delivery, become inseparably mixed with other items.
Any statutory exception will only be relied upon where the legal requirements for that exception are satisfied.
20. Hygiene and Sealed Products
Where a product has been supplied in sealed packaging specifically for health-protection or genuine hygiene reasons, and the product is legally considered unsuitable for return once that seal has been broken, the statutory cancellation right may cease once the customer unseals it.
We will not apply this exception more broadly than permitted by law.
This exception does not remove statutory rights relating to faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods.
21. Personalised Products
Goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised may be excluded from the statutory change-of-mind cancellation right where the relevant legal exception applies.
This does not affect your rights if the personalised product is faulty, damaged, misdescribed or does not otherwise conform to the contract.
22. Refused or Uncollected Parcels
Refusing delivery or failing to collect a parcel does not necessarily constitute valid notice that you are exercising a statutory cancellation right.
To avoid uncertainty, please contact us directly at:
Where a parcel is returned to us following failed delivery or non-collection, we will deal with the order in accordance with applicable law and the circumstances of the return.
23. Lost Return Parcels
When you arrange a change-of-mind return yourself, we strongly recommend obtaining proof of postage and using a trackable service.
If we provide a prepaid return label or specifically nominate a return service, different responsibility arrangements may apply depending on the circumstances.
Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
24. Refunds for Orders Paid With Multiple Payment Methods
Where an order was paid using more than one permitted payment method, any refund may be allocated between those payment methods in a manner consistent with the original transaction and applicable payment rules.
25. Promotional Discounts
Where a refund relates to an order that benefited from a multi-buy discount, bundle offer, promotional code or other conditional promotion, the refund may be calculated to reflect the actual amount paid for the returned item, provided this does not reduce any refund below the amount legally due.
26. Proof of Purchase
We may request reasonable evidence of purchase, such as:
-
an order number;
-
order confirmation;
-
payment confirmation; or
-
another reasonable record of the transaction.
We will not use unreasonable proof-of-purchase requirements to prevent customers from exercising statutory rights.
27. Processing a Return
To request a return:
-
Email support@LIINGSTTORM.store.
-
Include your order number.
-
Identify the product or products you wish to return.
-
State whether you are exercising a change-of-mind cancellation or reporting a fault, damage or incorrect item.
-
Wait for the relevant return instructions.
-
Package the goods securely.
-
Return them using the instructions provided.
-
Retain your proof of postage or tracking details.
28. Our Right to Examine Returned Goods
We may reasonably inspect returned goods to establish:
-
their condition;
-
whether they have been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary;
-
whether an alleged fault exists; and
-
which statutory or contractual remedy applies.
An inspection will not be used to unlawfully delay or deny a consumer's rights.
29. Fair Use of Returns
Our returns process must not be used fraudulently or abusively.
We may investigate activity such as:
-
returning an item different from the one purchased;
-
deliberate damage;
-
fraudulent claims;
-
altered products; or
-
misuse of our return system.
Any action taken by us will remain subject to applicable consumer law, and this clause does not restrict legitimate statutory rights.
30. Your Statutory Rights
Nothing in this Return & Refund Policy is intended to exclude, restrict or replace rights that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.
Our products and customer service procedures are subject to applicable UK consumer legislation, including, where relevant:
-
the Consumer Rights Act 2015;
-
the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013; and
-
other applicable UK consumer-protection legislation.
Where this Policy conflicts with a mandatory statutory consumer right, the statutory right will take precedence.
